Where Scarves Sit in the Trade City
The Yiwu International Trade City has around 75,000 booths. District 4, with more than 17,000 of them, is where most fashion accessories are sold.
District 4, 4th floor
Scarves, shawls and wraps share the fourth floor with belts and underwear, so accessory ranges can be put together on a single floor.
Materials and styles
Polyester, viscose, cotton, knitted acrylic and blends; printed fashion scarves, winter knits, lightweight wraps and headscarves in plain and printed ranges.
Factory direct floors
The upper floors of District 4 include factory direct-sale showrooms, the better starting point when you need your own prints or private label.
Open every working day
The market trades most days of the year, usually from morning to around 5 pm, and closes for a period around Chinese New Year.
What We Do in the Scarf Market
From your first product list to the container leaving the port.
Booth Shortlist
You send photos, links or a product list with target prices. We walk the relevant floors and come back with photographed options and booth prices, not a catalogue dump.
Trader or Factory
Many booths front a factory, many resell. We establish which one you are buying from before any deposit, and visit the plant behind the booth where the order justifies it.
Price & MOQ Negotiation
We negotiate in Chinese on unit price, MOQ per item, colour and size splits, packing and lead time, against your landed-cost target rather than the booth card.
Many Booths, One Shipment
Yiwu orders rarely come from one seller. Goods from every booth are delivered to our Yiwu warehouse, checked, and consolidated into one shipment with one set of documents.
Inspection Before Loading
Every delivery is opened and checked against the approved sample, with photo and video reports. SGS or Bureau Veritas can inspect where you need an independent report.
Freight & Customs
Sea, rail or air from Yiwu, export documents, and DDP to your door where you want the landed number fixed before you commit.
We are based in Yiwu and have sourced from China since 2003. This page covers one specialty; our Yiwu market agent service covers every district of the International Trade City, and the apparel and fashion accessories sourcing page covers factory production, custom designs and private label in this category.
Where Scarf Orders Go Wrong
None of these are exotic, and all of them are cheaper to prevent than to argue about.
"Silk" and "cashmere" need proof
Many scarves sold as silk-feel or cashmere-touch are polyester or acrylic. That is fine if the label says so. Fibre content is written into the order and, for premium claims, confirmed by a lab test before you print a label.
Labelling is a legal requirement
The US requires fibre content and care labelling on textile products, and the EU requires fibre names under its textile labelling regulation. We agree label wording and placement with you before production.
Colours drift between batches
A reorder from the same booth can come back a shade off. We keep your approved sample as the colour standard, compare every batch against it, and check colourfastness on printed ranges.
Small MOQs, many prints
Scarf booths often accept low quantities per print, which makes wide ranges tempting and tracking hard. We consolidate the count per design so what arrives matches what you ordered.
