Furniture from China, built to your specification.
Most furniture problems are decided before production starts: the timber, the board, the foam, the packing and the import paperwork. We write those down, match you with a factory that can build to them, approve a sample against them and inspect the order before it ships — then get it through customs to your door.

Who We Source Furniture For
Different buyers need different things from the same factory. Start from the one that sounds like you.
Retailers & private label
You have a range, a price ladder and a brand. You need factories that will build to your drawings, put your label on it and hold the specification from the first container to the tenth.
Hospitality & contract
Hotel rooms, restaurants, offices and student housing, where the order is a schedule of pieces with a deadline and a commercial-grade durability requirement rather than a catalogue pick.
Designers & developers
A project with mixed categories, custom dimensions and one delivery date. We source across several factories and consolidate so the whole project arrives together.
E-commerce & Amazon sellers
Flat-pack and knock-down designs that survive parcel networks, with packaging, labelling and carton sizes worked out before production rather than after the first returns.
How a Furniture Order Runs
Six steps from your drawing to a container at your warehouse. You approve at each one before we move to the next.
1. Specification
You send drawings, photos or a reference piece with your target landed price. We turn it into a written spec: dimensions, materials, finish, hardware, packing and the market it is going to.
2. Factory matching
We shortlist factories from our network of 1,000+ verified suppliers that already build that type of piece, and tell you whether each one is the maker or a trader in front of one.
3. Quote & negotiation
Price, MOQ per model, sample cost, lead time and payment terms, negotiated in Chinese against your landed-cost target rather than the factory list price.
4. Sample approval
A physical sample, photographed and measured, with the approved spec written against it. This record is what production is checked against, so it is where we spend the time.
5. Production & inspection
In-line checks during production, then pre-shipment inspection with SGS or Bureau Veritas where you want an independent report, plus our own photo and video sign-off.
6. Freight & import
Container planning, export documents, sea freight and the import paperwork your market needs. DDP to your warehouse if you want the landed number fixed before you commit.
What We Pin Down Before a Sample
Two sofas can look identical in a photo and last two years or ten. The difference is in lines like these, and a factory will only hold them if they are written down.
Timber & moisture
Species, solid or veneer, and a kiln-dried moisture target set for the climate the furniture will live in. We check it with a meter at inspection, because wood dried for a humid factory can split in a heated room.
Board & compliance
MDF, particleboard or plywood grade and thickness, and for the US, TSCA Title VI certified panels with the label on the finished piece before it ships.
Foam & upholstery
Foam density and grade, fabric weight and rub count, and the fire-safety standard your market requires. These are the substitutions that happen quietly after sample approval.
Hardware & finish
Hinge, slide and fitting brands, coating system and colour standard. Cheap hardware is the most common reason a good-looking piece comes back.
Packing
Carton grade, corner and edge protection, knock-down versus assembled, and carton sizes worked out against the container or the parcel network.
Tolerances
What counts as a defect and what does not: dimension tolerance, finish flaws, colour variation between batches. Written down, so inspection is a checklist rather than an argument.
Importing Furniture into the US
Four things that decide whether a furniture container clears customs on time and costs what you expected. Buying for Europe or Latin America instead? Tell us the destination and we work to its rules.
TSCA Title VI labels
Furniture containing MDF, particleboard or hardwood plywood must use panels certified by an EPA-recognised third party and carry the compliance label by the date of import. We confirm certification with the panel supplier before production, not at the port.
Lacey Act declaration
Since the 2024 expansion, many wood furniture lines need a Lacey Act declaration naming the wood species and country of harvest, and since January 2026 it can only be filed electronically. We collect that data from the factory while the order is placed.
Duties by HTS line
Chinese furniture can carry Section 301 and Section 232 duties on top of the base rate, and the rules changed several times in 2025-2026. We do not print a rate here; we quote the current one for your HTS line in your landed cost.
ISF & container choice
Ocean shipments to the US need an Importer Security Filing before loading. We prepare the data with your broker and advise FCL or LCL on volume — furniture is bulky, and a part load is often more expensive per piece than it looks.
What goes into a landed cost
Factory price, packing, inland transport to the port, sea freight, insurance, import duty for the correct HTS line, customs brokerage and filing fees, port charges and delivery to your warehouse. We price all of it per piece so two factories can be compared on what the furniture actually costs you. This is general guidance, not legal or customs advice — your licensed customs broker makes the final classification.
Where Furniture Orders Go Wrong
None of these are exotic, and all of them are cheaper to prevent than to argue about.
The landed cost was the FOB price
A quote per piece at the factory gate is not what the furniture costs you. Freight, duty for the correct HTS line, customs and inland delivery can change which factory is actually cheapest, so we compare them on landed cost.
The sample was not the production run
Foam grade, board thickness and hardware are the easy things to change after approval, and you will not see them in a photo. The written spec against the approved sample is what makes them checkable.
The wood was dried for the wrong climate
Solid wood moves with humidity. Furniture that is fine in Guangdong can crack in a heated, dry house. Moisture content is a line on the spec and a reading at inspection, not an assumption.
The container was held at customs
Missing composite-wood labels or wood declarations are paperwork problems that become demurrage bills. They are cheap to get right before production and expensive to fix after arrival.
What We Source
Any of these can be built to your drawings with your label and packaging. Buying ready-made pieces from showrooms rather than commissioning production? Our Foshan furniture market agent service walks the Lecong malls for you. Smaller mixed orders often start better in the Yiwu market.
